artist splash page 

For this project I decided to used British artist Jamie Hewlett most famous for his creation of the gorillaz and tank girl.

To get a decent idea of how i was going to do my splash and too have some fun drawing in the style of probably one of my favourite artists i drew a page of sketches of the gorillaz to give myself some practise in this style. and then when felt comfortable decided to draw a splash page of me and a few friends posing.I like the way it came out but i believe with some extra time i would be able to add a lot more to this piece.
